Auto Dashing seeks and studies the impact of automotive dashboards on the driving experience. Despite the critical role that dashboards play, there is a distinct lack of conversation about how dashboard design impacts driving behavior and safety.

From analog to digital, the dashboard design has changed not only visually, but also in terms of flexibility, legibility, and accessibility. The goal of this book is to experimentally analyze dashboard typography and the visual evolution of dashboard design, highlighting, for designers, the importance and aesthetics of typography in the car dashboard.
